Savannah Smiles

We arrived in Savannah yesterday afternoon-took a little longer than anticipated. There was a tragic wreck on I-95(had my poor mom worried because it was on FOX news and she knew we were on I-95) I believe 3 people were killed, just horrible-like 7 tractor trailers and a van involved. Tied up the interstate for 14 hours. Luckily, I was with the king of the backroad-Backroads Bill, and he found a way around it all and we lost just an hour. We got here in plenty of time for the rehearsal. Mackey house is absolutely Gorgeous and the owners are such nice people.

We later went to eat at The River House down by the, of course, river. Our waitress was truly a icon of southern hospitality. It is very Old South (in the good way with the people very hospitable and polite) -she called us "Baby" and "Babies". It was so cool. The food was delicious-filet mignon that melted in your mouth. I Hope we can return when we can enjoy Savannah more. Amanda, sadly we will probably not get to Lady & Sons this quick trip.

We snapped a quick shot of Katie and Jayson(below) last night for the signature mat since Jayson just returned from Iraq 3 weeks ago! What a beautiful couple!!

We are off to photograph their wedding-everyone pray for some sun to come out-it is not raining-thank goodness but is very angry looking!
